This is the fourth season that I’ve been at my job, an ice creamery if you care to know. It was my first job, I started at the end of my senior year of high school, and I’ve busted my ass for that place for all these years. 

In all (going on) four years I’ve been there, I’ve had four managers/manager couples. This year, the best manager that I’ve ever worked with got fired, because the guy that owns the place is a pompous asshole. So, we got a new couple who were managing the ice creamery, but also doing other things within the campground. Needless to say, the ice creamery was the least of there worries; they didn’t give a shit about it. Well, the female half of my newest managing couple had a heart attack and died last Friday. So, since I’ve been there the longest, and I know the ice creamery better than ANYONE ELSE, I picked up things around the shop, like an acting manager.

Well, since we’re connected to a campground, we get camp workers that will work in the ice creamery for the summer, (i.e. old people who can’t pick up on anything quick enough, and are too slow for the pace of the ice creamery, and basically just annoy the hell out of us and get in the way). 

I’m currently in the middle of exams, I have my last one tomorrow, then I’m heading home for the summer. I’ve been going home on weekends and working, because it’s not that far, and I can afford the drive. 

I’m not at work tonight or tomorrow, but I trust the girls that I left there to work. They’ve been there two years, and they know what they’re doing. 

We got these goddamn new camp workers who have come up in here like they own the shit. 

NO. NO ONE HAS MADE YOU MANAGER. I’VE BEEN BUSTING MY ASS IN THIS PLACE. YOU ALL CAN GO FUCK OFF. 

I wish they would just make me manager. It makes the most sense, because like I said, I know that place better than anyone else. But no, they won’t. Because the guy that owns it is an arrogant, pompous asshole, who apparently thinks I’m incompetent because I’m still in college. 

I’M MORE COMPETENT THAN ANYONE ELSE AROUND THAT PLACE. 

I’m so frustrated. I’m basically being treated like a worthless piece of shit.
